Chateau Ikalto

I had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in a picturesque setting. The amazing view of the mountains was a highlight, especially from the terrace on the third floor. The hotel's location, nestled right by the vineyard, added to its charm. The pool was clean and inviting, perfect for cooling off in the Kakheti summer. the staff were really good too ensure a pleasant experience.

Hard to think of anything negative.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were blown away by the stunning view of the mountains. It was like a dream come true, being able to wake up every morning and enjoy such a breathtaking sight. the location of the hotel, right by the vineyard, added to the charm and tranquility of our stay. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. the breakfast each morning was a delightful experience, with tasty village products and the freshest eggs we've ever had. On top of that, the pool was clean and inviting, perfect for cooling off in the hot afternoons. our time at this hotel was nothing short of magical.

One small downside was that Google maps didn't provide accurate directions to the hotel, leading us to an adjacent lane. with the help of friendly locals, we were able to find our way to the right place.

The hotel was quite clean and lively, and the restaurant had great Georgian meals, which were quite affordable. There was a great pool located near the vineyard, a perfect combination for relaxation. , I could admire the beautiful panorama of the Caucasus Mountains from the hotel's terrace.

Christmas was uneventful, and I felt the hotel could have done more to make the holiday special. The location wasn't easily accessible, and it was challenging to navigate around the area without personal transport.

The pool was a big hit with my kids, they had so much fun! Our rooms on the 3rd floor had beautiful balconies with views of the vineyards and mountains. We also loved spending time on the big terrace on the 3rd floor. The hotel has a great pool right by the vineyard, which is a perfect combination. The restaurant served delicious Georgian food at reasonable prices. One of the owners even gave us a tour of the wine cellar, which was very interesting. I highly recommend this place to family and friends.
